RAVENNA expands AoIP webinar series due to popular demand

Along with many other manufacturers and technology providers during these locked-down times, RAVENNA recently launched a series of webinars as a way of staying in touch with customers and users. All centred around the topic of Audio-over-IP, the first session entitled, ‘RAVENNA and its relationship to AES67 and ST2110,’ was a general overview held on 14th April. Given the extremely enthusiastic response – the first webinar was vastly oversubscribed – RAVENNA has rapidly increased its hosting capacity and fine-tuned the program.

As the headlines continue to be dominated by the effects of COVID-19 on our health and our economies and home-working becomes the new norm, webinars are an obvious way to remain in touch; to inform, to educate and to train. ALC NetworX wins Technology & Engineering Emmy Award

ALC NetworX, developer of the RAVENNA high performance AoIP transport technology and key player in the development of the AES67 standard for AoIP interoperability, has been honoured with a Technical & Engineering Emmy Award from the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS) for the “Development of synchronised multi-channel uncompressed audio transport over IP networks.” The 71st edition of the Emmy Awards for Engineering & Technology will be hosted at the Wynn Encore Hotel and Spa on Sunday April 19th during the forthcoming NAB Show in Las Vegas.
